Registration for Men's Camp 2026

Blokes! We’re getting together again soon at Camp Somerset, but this year at the larger Central Complex! Looking forward to spending time together, going for a kayak, playing volleyball—and would you believe, crafting a shepherd’s sling (for all your hunting needs). Then there’s church and hearing of God’s work in the lives of others. And we’d love your high school sons to come too!

The Central Complex includes a bunch of cabins (with bunks), each with a small kitchenette and bathroom. There’s a big shared dining and meeting space, plus a firepit, deck and outdoor areas for hanging out. You’ll also have access to tennis and beach volleyball courts, as well as Lake Somerset—home of the now-legendary Kayak Ultimate Disc. There’s even a pool, for the brave.

The cost is $150 per person for the weekend, or $55 for day visitors. This includes Includes catering from Friday supper to Sunday morning tea. (We don't want cost to stop anyone from coming - if this is an issue for you there is a space below to note this.)

Can you bring watercraft? Saturday afternoon will be a chance to play ultimate disk on water! Let us know below (1) Do you have watercraft you could bring - what type? (2) Do you need any help with transporting it to Somerset. (3) Any other comments/ questions about this. (Note: Murray Scott is the contact person re watercraft if you wish to discuss anything in person.)

Dietary requirements/allergies

Medical conditions (Conditions that organisers need to know about - anything that might require treatment during camp. Let us know medications, hospital, treating doctors or anything that info that might be relevant)

Do you have any particular needs we should know about (eg. needing to use a CPAP at night).

Fishing? If you're 18+ you'll need a permit

For those who would like to, there will be opportunity to fish over the weekend. Remember to bring your gear! Also, just to say that if you're over 18 you will need a permit. Fishing permits (SIPS) can be obtained online (search for ‘Stocked Dam Fishing Permits QLD – Somerset Dam’).

Camp Somerset Requirements

Camp Somerset is an Alcohol, Tobacco, Vaping, Firearm, Pet and Drug free facility. Trail bikes are also not permitted.

The parent / guardian is responsible to supervise minors at all times.
